I realize that the muslims of the west are being raised in a democratic society but it is not enough to just say that the muslims in the west are educated and westernized. They are not only educated but they are also modernized. They have all the right and democratic values. This does not mean that they are not religious or that they dont follow the Wahabi brand of islam. This is a reason why the west has to be wary of them.
So what happened? what is the reason for the west to get such a bad name? Is it not the reason of the muslims in the west?? So what is the difference between this terrorism and the terrorism of the west for 1400years?
Another thing is that muslims have been attacking Christians for the last 1400years. The west had tried to contain the muslims on the subcontinent and they were contained in the middle of the 20th century.
Another thing is that if you see these muslims on tv then the typical common or garden muslim is not even visible. There are many who are educated and westernized. They are not just middle class and more so more educated. They are engineers, doctors, lawyers etc. In short they are educated and westernized. The only thing is that their religion or'religiosity' is more important to them than their worldly things. Of course they have their own values but they do not change with the rest of the world. They are more closed than the rest of the world. My wife has made this point time and again. They are more right wing than the rest of the world. There are more muslims in the west than any other country in the world. So this should not surprise anyone. Especially those who live in the west.
I was reading an article on some new discoveries about the brutal treatment of women in islam. Apparently the head of some islamic organisation had said that the reason for this is that the muslims, unlike non-muslims, believe that women are not equal to men. This is so arrogant! Why should a male be more superior than a woman? The above line can be quoted to prove that islam is not a truly spiritual and godly religion. Look at the christians, their churches are full of women. They consider women to be equal to men. Even the pope had said that the church and catholicism are for everybody. Its the fault of islam that women are treated like animals. The only reason for this is that the muslims are trying to be more superior than other religions. They don't believe in the word of God. In the name of God, they kill millions of people. They believe that a piece of meat (a human being) is less important than the same amount of the same meat which is cooked in the name of God.
