COVID 19 has been the same for our household as so many others. We have been forced to adapt and adjust to "a new normal". Forced to set aside anxiety and apprehension, to focus our energy on figuring this out! How DO you support your children full time, without parks, play grounds and playdates? How DO you maintain full time work (yes...we know we are very lucky to be working) while managing the children? Honestly...we have no idea ๐ We know we don't have to get it all perfect. Our priorities are mental health and a peaceful home. The rest comes later. We just do our best, which is all any of us should expect of one another. It's a time when we feel a lot of uncertainty and a serious lack of control. One blessing in all of this has been the sense that we actually have something to offer. We have had SO many inquiries and several towers heading out the door. We have also been given permission to use a local green house to set up our farm cell and begin growing food. In the coming weeks we will have 400-1000 plants on the grow to help feed our community and support our food banks. What a gift! This matters. This pandemic experience highlights so many aspects of life, communtiy and shifting priorities. For us it has solidified our commitment to helping people grow their food at home and in their communities. The single most important thing we feel we can do. We understand the months and years ahead will be challenging. As we emerge from quarantine and begin to resuscitate our local small businesses, it will take time, team work and loads of support. We know we haven't got a magic wand...but what we do have is a loving hand and a desire to be of support. We look forward to hugging our friends and neighbours. We look forward to working side by side in the community. In the mean time we are here. Coaching (from a safe social distance ๐), growing, hoping and sending kind thoughts to all.๐ฑ๐ Stay well!
