The other big change to mechs is the elimination of Battle-Mech Commander, which was a required trait to access the Battle-Mechs in the current codex. This allows for a completely new mechanic for the mechs and makes the space for access to the new Battle-Mechs very constrained.
Restoring Order is the second set in this new codex, coming in 8 different variants with different approaches to dealing with the enemy units. These variants determine the amount of units the Restoring Order can buff, so careful planning is needed to make sure you can counter the enemy forces appropriately.
The new Battle-Mechs are the new mechs of the codex, and a completely different style of game. The new mechs function as a single unit, and they can have up to four support units with them. The support units are exactly like the regular units, except they have a special ability that can only be used on the support unit when it enters the battlefield.
